At the zoo, there 25 stations. We needed to finish all the stations we could. My favorite station was the blubber and the fur gloves. I liked that station because I got to feel like how an animal would feel, and that it was a hands-on project. The station was at the Sea Lion Cove, and we had to decide which glove was warmer in icy water. The blubber glove felt squishy in a weird way, while the fur glove was soft. In the end, my group said the blubber glove was warmer. I think it was warmer because the blubber was stuck together, which kept the heat in, while the fur glove could let air travel through.
Even though this station was my favorite, there were other stations that I liked too, like the bone station or the tiger station, however, that is a different story. If you went to the zoo field trip, then feel free to comment below about which zoo station you liked best.
