In World History Core, we did...
CORE History Portfolio
For Open House, Mrs. Kanzler decided that we do a history portfolio for the parents and visitors to see what we learned. We were given 7 topics, and we had to choose a project that came with it, along with a reflection about it.
The topics that were related to history were the Fall of Rome, West African Civilizations, Asian Civilizations, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, and the Scientific Revolution. We had to include a project that came with each project, which is to be followed by a reflection. The process was hard for me, because I couldn't stay organized, so half of the things I needed were everywhere. However, I still managed to find the papers that I needed to complete this project. Overall, this project was kind of easy, and it helped me remember what I learned, and hopefully I keep it safe so I can use it for CST next year.

Document Analysis

This assignment was given by my CORE teacher, Mrs. Kanzler. We had our seats moved and we had to work with our group partners in order to figure out the question from the document that was given to us. The document was about a Roman man who was speaking to Priscus, Roman Ambassdor to the Huns, about how he would rather be conquered by the Huns rather than being with the Roman Empire, due to its state of being unfair and cruel to their subjects and citizens.
For this project, we used GoogleDocs. Some of the people in my group decided to write it on paper, but GoogleDocs was much easier because you just had to type and that's it.
