In Art, we did....
Narrative Art
We just finished the Narrative Art project yesterday. A narrative art is a piece of art work that tells a story by itself. There are clues in the story which lead to the main plot, and there are things that help the story pop out. For our focal point, we had to use a magazine cut-out of anything we'd like. Ms. Pishione also had us type a story about the picture. I decided to make a story about a woman who is returning to New York City, which is her hometown.
The process in making this was sort of challenging. At first, I had trouble for choosing which magazine cut-out was best for the picture. Also, I had to use contrasting ,which meant mixing light and dark colors together. Then, I had to type the story, which was my favorite part because I like to be crafty when it comes to writing. Overall, this project was good, and it wasn't too hard, but it did have its turns. I enjoyed this project, and the tools were really simple, since it was mostly just color pencils to color in the picture.

Doodle Art!
In art class, we did a project called Doodle Art. The explanation is basically in its own name. We let out our feelings on paper, which we emphasize by doodling. However, that does not mean that it can be crazy. Well, it can be crazy, but the project needed to have colors that are balanced together.
As you can see, the colors I used were light green, yellow orange, light pink, and light purple. I wanted to have a neon, doodle-y effect, and I think that it worked out quite well. The bright colors were bright, but not too bright that it hurts your eyes, and it helped bring out the drawings very well.
The process for this was easy, because I just needed to doodle what I felt, which wasn't challenging at all. The only time when I needed to think was just about the colors. Overall, this project was very easy, and fun to work with. I hope that we get something like this again.
