This year, my favorite book is called 13 Treasures. It is a fiction book, and is about a girl who could see fairies. These weren't the type of Tinkerbell fairies however, because in this book, fairies are the first ones on her list of things she hates. The fairies would mess with her, and sometimes torture her. Her mother was getting worried, and fed up with her daughter, so she decided to send her to her grandmother's mansion. There was something at her grandmother's mansion that she didn't know. If she thought that she got rid of fairies, then she was wrong. Her grandmother's mansion was swarmed with twisted, fantasy beings. Gnomes, fairies, and others that she hasn't even heard about.
I like this book because it tells a lot of how things aren't what they seem. It also interests me, and keeps me wanting to turn the next page. I hope that I can purchase this book again, since I only read it from the library. Hopefully there will be other books I like in the future.
